Union Budget 2025: Makhana Board and Food Processing Institute in Bihar

In the Union Budget 2025, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the establishment of a Makhana Board in Bihar to boost production and marketing of this traditional crop. Additionally, a National Institute for Food Technology will be set up to enhance food processing, increase farmers' incomes, and create job opportunities.
